According to Dom Designer 6.5 Help, one should not use pipelining to feed the DXL importer or exporter objects.

So...I have tried it two other ways. I have put the output from the DOM parser to a NotesStream and then made the the stream the input to the dxl importer and call importer.process.

I have also skipped the DOM parser all together and made the input of the dxl importer the rich text item and then called process.

I still get the same error.
